Hampstead Academy Changes Ownership After 40 Years

Hampstead Academy, celebrating 40 years of teaching children, is getting ready to undergo a change in leadership. The current Head of School, Lyn Kutzelman, is retiring from the school and new owners are eager to continue with the tradition of excellence long established. Led by Liane and Gary Odom, the school will continue with its commitment to STEAM Education as it prepares for the next 40 years.

STEAM Education is at the forefront of student learning at Hampstead Academy. Integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and math with a rich humanities program, students at Hampstead Academy are challenged to tackle complex problems using a variety of strategies and tools. STEAM Education promotes student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. Students who graduate from Hampstead Academy have the capacities to persist in problem-solving, engage in complex learning, embrace collaboration, and lead in the creative process. They are the leaders, innovators, creators, and trendsetters in the 21stcentury.
