Students at Hampstead Academy have so much to be proud of! When reviewing the results of the NWEA MAP assessment, students in grades 3-6 ranked in the 75th percentile in reading, 71st percentile in language usage, and 59th percentile in math. These results compare student academic performance with students from 49 foreign countries, 50 states, and 3400 districts.
Student experience and learning are very important to their long-term growth and success. At Hampstead Academy, school-wide assessment is done using a computer adaptive assessment known as the NWEA MAP. MAP Growth is a computer adaptive test created by NWEA that kids take two to three times per school year. The results provide teachers with information to help them deliver appropriate content for each student and determine each student’s academic growth over time.
