Invitations Welcome New Pre-K friends Savina, Dylan, and Leigha!

Welcome Mike Schneider, Physical Education Teacher We are very excited to announce our new Physical Education Teacher, Mike Schneider. Mike comes to HA as a graduate of Londonderry High School and Keene State with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Mike has made the transition from Director of the YMCA to Physical Education teacher at Windham Academy and Hampstead Academy. We look forward to having Mike as part of our team! NWEA-MAP Testing Some Hampstead Academy students began taking the NWEA assessments this week in reading, math, and language arts (we did not include Science). Our students in grades 3-7 have been taking part utilizing this on-line assessment tool for measuring achievement and growth in core subjects. It provides teachers with accurate, actionable evidence to help inform individualized instructional strategies regardless of how far students are above or below grade level. We are encouraging our students to take their time, and we should have results ready sometime by the end of next week. We will be sending home your child's results, along with guidelines on how to interpret the results. We will be here to answer any questions you may have regarding how beneficial the data from these tests will be in helping us plan detailed targeted instruction for your child. IMPORTANT Extended Day Program Update We are so pleased to announce our enhanced Extended Day Program for the remainder of the academic year! Please review what to expect for 2023 HERE (2 pages) The Extended Day Phone Number has changed and an email sent to Extended Day parents.
