Standards
Hampstead Academy uses the
National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS*S)
developed by
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE)
as the foundational principles for developing the core
technical competencies and informational literacy levels that students should
demonstrate at various grade levels. These standards are deployed and
integrated through practical applications in the classroom and assessed
regularly through key "performance indicators". The pedagogical approach on
how the performance indicators will be achieved is the responsibility of the
subject, or homeroom teacher, working in conjunction with the Technology
Integration Specialist.
