Mr. Jim Ford, NH and Maine Coordinator for the Stock Market Game, visited Hampstead Academy to present Jaisen with a trophy and gift card for his first place essay in the InvestWrite competition. This is not the first time Jaisen has won! Jaisen won the essay contest last year and also was a winner of the regular Stock Market Game. The InvestWrite program gives the students the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the stock market in writing. Essay topics are offered online twice in the school year. Jaisen has recently submitted a new essay for the springtime topic. Good Luck, Jaisen!
On Friday, Hampstead Academy students competed in the regional SeaPerch Competition at UNH with the underwater remote vehicles they had constructed. There were two events: an obstacle course through a system of rings submerged in the pool and a challenge that required the placement of rope rings and cubes to be moved onto a platform for points. www.seaperch.org
