 | Step 1: Review Our Website The Hampstead Academy Admissions Committee seeks bright and talented students with varied interests and experiences. We endeavor to attract motivated and conscientious students who are eager to make positive contributions in and out of the classroom. Acceptance to our Early Childhood Programs is based upon available space; acceptance to our Lower School and Upper School programs is based upon available space, school records, student visitations and evaluations. First consideration for placement to all programs is given to siblings of current students. |
|
Step 2: Schedule a Tour After carefully reviewing the information provided on our website, please call the Hampstead Academy Admissions Office at 603-329-4406 to schedule an appointment to tour the school. Parents are advised to plan a visit without their children as tours typically last about two hours. |
|
Step 3: Submit Application and Fee Hampstead Academy accepts applications for admission on a rolling basis. Upon completion of our Current Student Re-enrollment, which takes place each year in January, candidates who have completed the application process are considered for admission to our programs. Should you feel that Hampstead Academy would be a good fit for your child, complete an application and mail it, along with a $50 non-refundable application fee, to:

Early Childhood Programs (Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten): Prior to January 15, applicants are placed on a waitlist for our programs in the order of receipt of completed application. |
Step 4: Submit Transcripts and Evaluation Forms Applications for Lower School (grades 1-5) and Upper School (grades 6-8) placement are considered complete upon the receipt of the following supplemental application materials:
- 2 Confidential Evaluation forms

- Copy of the student’s most recent standardized test results
Once a prospective student’s application materials are received, the Hampstead Academy Admissions Committee will review the application and make a recommendation for a Student Visitation invitation. |
|
Step 5: Student Visitations Based on the recommendation of the Hampstead Academy Admission Committee, prospective students are invited to visit the school as a guest student. Students applying for grade 1 are invited to spend a morning, while students applying for grades 2 – 8 are invited to spend a day.
During this visit, prospective students will have the opportunity to experience first hand a typical day at Hampstead Academy. This visit will also give our teaching staff the opportunity to assess prospective student’s overall social/emotional development as the student interacts with peers and teachers, and to assess the student’s abilities in reading and math. |
|
Step 6: Notification of Acceptance Acceptance letters for incoming students to our Early Childhood programs are mailed on January 15th.
Acceptance letters for incoming students to our Lower School and Upper School programs are mailed after February 15th. |

I cannot express our appreciation and good fortune that we feel, as Brendan has had such a wonderful opportunity over the years at HA to become the student and young man that he is. The guidance, love and education from yourself and your staff means more than we could ever express! I would welcome and be privileged to be considered as a reference/referral for incoming parents, should the need ever arise.
