Formal Dance - Success!

Spirit Week T-Shirt Design Contest

We are looking for a 35th Anniversary Design (1978-2013) for this year's Spirit Week T-Shirt.  Although it is late notice (our apologies!), designs need to be submitted to Stacy Kutzelman by this Monday, May 20th for voting.

The winning design will receive free t-shirts for their immediate family.

The A.D.A.'s Tour de Cure
5/17/2013
The American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure, taking place this weekend, raises funds for the 26 million Americans living with diabetes through registration fees and pledges collected by the touring cyclists. Some of our Hampstead Academy families are going to host a rest area at the school for the cyclists coming through the area. 

Tour de Cure is designed for anyone from the occasional to the experienced cyclist with routes from the 15-mile family ride to 100-mile Gran Fondo, a century ride. The routes all feature rest stops with food to fuel the journey and volunteers to cheer riders on.

The A.D.A.'s Tour de Cure

Students in Grades One and Two Celebrate Giving

Students in Grades One and Two at Hampstead Academy have been busy little Elves during this holiday season. In anticipation of the Hampstead Academy Holiday Store, the children worked at home doing chores throughout November and December in order to earn shopping money for gifts.

The children were delighted to choose gifts for their families as a reward for all their hard work, but were even more pleased to know that the funds they raised would go to a good cause. The children decided that the money raised at their store should go to St. Anne’s Food Pantry in Hampstead. The children donated over $200 to food pantry.

Fleece Blankets for Emmaus House

To continue our committment to helping the residents of Emmaus House, the fourth grade students made fleece blankets for the residents. Two blankets, one for a girl and one for a boy, will be delivered in time for the holiday to be distributed to children at the shelter.

Hampstead Academy Hoops for Heart 2013!

We are excited to announce that Hampstead Academy will be participating in Hoops for Heart event during physical education classes this year! Every student will have a chance to participate, and those that would like to raise funds are encouraged to!

Mark your calendar - this event will be held January 22-25! This very special community service program will help raise awareness of heart health as well as raise funds to fight our nation’s No. 1 and No. 4 killers- cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Donations for the Salem Animal Rescue League and Feline Friends of Salem

With the holiday season upon us, we are surrounded by the joys and splendors of some rich holiday literature here in the Hampstead Academy Library. Many pieces share diverse themes within each of the different holidays we celebrate. One central theme shared is that of giving. The Library, with the help of the 6th grade, will be collecting donations for the Salem Animal Rescue League and for Feline Friends of Salem, NH.

Pumpkin Bread for Emmaus House

With the help of some parents, the 4th grade class baked 10 loaves of pumpkin bread for Emmaus House in Haverhill, Mass. It was delivered on Wednesday, Nov. 21st in time for their Thanksgiving Feast!

7th Grade Donation Box For Our Troops

Grade Seven is currently spearheading a community service project which they are happy to announce is open to the entire Hampstead Academy community. A care box filled with donations of various items will be sent to Austin Ware's troop, currently stationed in Afghanistan. Austin is the brother of one of our seventh graders, Makayla.

H.A. Used Book Drive

Hampstead Academy students have collected well over 1500 books during their Used Book Drive this year. All the books collected to date were delivered by the Hampstead Academy Student Council to Guilmette Elementary School in Lawrence, Massachusetts last week, where they will be distributed to either the school's library or to the school's book closet.

Thank you all for your effort and financial donations offered for our recent Jump Rope For Heart Fundraiser. We were blessed with a fabulous day and were able to come together as a school and spend the afternoon jumping to our "hearts content"! The final tally for the fundraiser totaled $3180; our original goal was for $2500.
